The Poetry Laboratory started in April 2020 as a way for kids to connect across physical and social distance. It is a virtual space for poetic experimentation, where young people can find their voice and connect with each other through writing.

In each session, we read and discussion powerful, life-affirming poems, explore an element of craft, complete a writing exercise, and share our work in a safe and supportive setting.

The Poetry Laboratory is an experimental space, where kids can discover the writer within and find their poetic voice.
